Glen Bradley, M.A., LGPC, NCC

Are you new to DC and struggling to make friends and find community? Are you struggling to find meaning in your work and relationships? Are you part of the queer community, out of the closet, and still struggling to build the life you long for? Do you struggle to get beyond past traumas and find them interrupting your efforts to live your best life? I'm a queer therapist and I work with all types of people to help them reconnect with their sources of excitement. When we are stressed, burdened by expectations, or trying to adjust to something new that feels too big, we lose sight of that excitement. I'm here to help you reconnect with yourself and build a self of calm and trust in yourself. In addition to my training as a psychotherapist, I also have over 10 years of lived experience and training in mediation, mindfulness, and stress reduction. My approach incorporates neuroscience, philosophy, and body awareness to help people heal from pain, explore suffering, build empowerment, and cultivate safety and rest.

I specialize in empowering people to understand themselves on a deeper level, grow in self-compassion, & make positive changes in their lives. My work emphasizes multicultural counseling and providing affirming therapy for individuals within the LGBTQ+, kink, polyamorous, and neurodivergent communities. My therapeutic approach has successfully guided clients through various life challenges, including trauma recovery, career transitions, relationship complexities, identity exploration, coping with medical diagnoses, existential dilemmas, and managing anxiety, depression, anger, PMDD, and work-related stress. I’m not stiff or rigid & I won’t just slap a “label” on you. I’ll show up as a real person, challenge you when you need it, & be genuinely invested in you and your journey.

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Washington, DC, and board certified as a National Certified Counselor by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC. Before that, I worked in a variety of settings including government and healthcare program consulting, teaching queer cultural competency, and queer advocacy and community services. I have a Bachelors of Science in Commerce from Santa Clara University in California with a major in marketing, minor in English, and a pathway concentration in gender and sexuality.

I'm genderqueer & gay, and I know the importance of having a therapist with lived experience. I'm here to see you, not just labels or stereotypes. You’re the expert in your life, and I’m here to guide you and help you get curious about yourself to create change, growth, and a more fulfilling life.
