Darian Lancaster, Clinical Intern

Darian Lancaster

Darian is our clinical intern attending Washington Adventist University, currently pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Earlier in her studies, Darian received her B.S. in Psychology at University of Maryland Global Campus.

With her teachings at WAU, Darian views the mind, body, and spirit as one and utilizes therapeutic approaches that can help her clients overall health and well being. She supports clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, and issues with self development. Her empathic and compassionate nature helps create a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore and grow.

Darian is welcome to assisting all communities and age groups. She assists clients using CBT, humanistic therapy approaches, play/art therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness based cognitive therapy approaches.

As a clinician, Darian's goal is to work closely with her clients to help them gain a better understanding of who they are, how to navigate life through their own lens, and the best skills needed to achieve their goals. In her spare time Darian likes to spend time with friends and family, listen to books on audible, and to spend time outdoors.
